2. Emotions Matter! Create safe spaces for all feelings and emotions to be shared and managed in a healthy way.

Create/Designate a "calm down" area in your home
Create a coping skills jar
Start a family journal. Family members can take turns writing and responding
Model healthy responses to emotions
3. Words Matter! Include affirmations and family matras into your daily interactions and discussions. Speak positive words and watch how your family will grow.
